I choose to believe that Ann has found her way back, as well.Linda Goodmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10351953614534980830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3821022301085928493.post-32494275274364954962017-08-09T09:09:31.763-04:002017-08-09T09:09:31.763-04:00Thank you for this story, Linda. It makes me sad to read the outcome of Ann's journey as best we know it at this point. The truth is that I don't know what happened to Ann. We never saw her again after the funeral. After her dad made arrangements for her to live with the woman, she no longer attended the same school as my sister. My family had no phone or car, so we had no real way of keeping in touch. She called the woman who kept her Mrs. Smith, but we had no idea where she lived.I suspect Ann went into foster care. Ironically, she contacted my sister 10 years later. She was 21 years old then. She called to see if Evelyn would give her some money to buy drugs. Evelyn told her she couldn't do that. She never heard from Ann again. Was there any money for her? Who ended up looking after her? What happened to her in the end. I'm longing to know. Thank you and bless you.
